The Texas Public Finance Authority Charter School Finance Corporation ("CSFC" or "corporation") is a public non-profit corporation created by the Texas Public Finance Authority (the "Authority") and existing as an instrumentality of the Authority pursuant to Section 53.351 of the Texas Education Code, as amended (the "Act"). Pursuant to the Act, the CSFC is authorized to issue revenue bonds and to lend the proceeds thereof to any authorized charter schools for the purpose of aiding such schools in financing or refinancing "educational facilities" (as such term is defined in the Act) and facilities which are incidental, subordinate, or related thereto or appropriate in connection therewith.
